ADMISSION & ELIGIBILITY
MBBS1. The candidate shall have passed the two year P.U.C examination conducted by P.U Board, Karnataka State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects or any other examinations recognized as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Or the first year of three year degree course of a Recognized University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the examination i.e. a "University Examinations"
2. B.Sc with physics, chemistry and biology (botany and zoology) or Chemistry, botany and Zoology exam of an Indian university, provided that he has passed the B.Sc examination and has passed the B.Sc Examination and has secured at least 50% in any of the two subjects studied at the degree level and he has passed the earlier qualifying examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English
3. Any other examination which in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the intermediate science examination of an Indian university / board, taking physics, chemistry and biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English the candidate shall have obtained not less than 50% for general candidates
4. The candidate should have to complete 17 years on 31st December of the year of admission.
Post Graduate
Candidate who has passed the MBBS degree examination after pursuing a study in a Medical College recognized by the Medical Council of India of this university or of other recognized medical college affiliated to any other University, recognized as equivalent there to, and has completed one year Compulsory Rotating Internship in a teaching institution or other institution recognized by the Medical Council of India by 30th April 2004 and has obtained permanent registration of any State Medical Council, shall be eligible for admission provided the candidate for degree/diploma has not failed more than four times in final year MBBS subject viz., Medicine, Surgery, OBG provided further that, in respect of SC/ST and BT candidates should not have failed more than five times in the above said subjects
PG seats allotment is as follows.
50% of total PG seats will be filled by the Government and remaining 50% seats in each subject will be selected by the Management of Siddhartha Medical College. Selection will be based on the merit as determined by the Common entrance test conducted by COMEDK PGET 2009. All interested students are advised to log on to www.comedk.org for details of the test.
Candidates are advised to apply to our College along with all MBBS marks cards, Housemanship completion certificate, COMEDK RANK card. Last date for applying to our college, counseling date and other details will be made available in our web site time to time.
Fee structure will be same for each course for all candidates irrespective of whether the merit determination is on the basis of COMEDK PGET 2009 management quota seats or RGUHS PGET 2009 for Govt seats.
