Library
The Central Library of MVJ Medical College & Research Hospital is situated in separate Building at College. It extends over 982 Sq. meters on two floors, is very useful for information seeker. It can accommodate over 500 users at a time.
The Library aims to acquire Health Sciences Information and provide timely, accurate and current information and documents to its user for their teaching, Research and Academic achievement.

Resource Collection of the Library
The Library has developed an excellent collection of books, journals and non-book materials in Medical Sciences. It Maintains separate collection of leading books, reference books, Standards, Bound Volumes of Journals, Technical Reports, CDs, Course Dairies. LIBRABRY SERVICES AND FACILITIES:
a). Document Circulation Services:
The books are issued to students, research scholars and faculty members. Bound, unbound journals, audio-visual materials and CDs are for in house only.
b). Reference Services:
Reference Services is a personal aid provided to the library staff in interpreting library collection for study and research. The library staffs assist the user to locate needed information from the available information resources. On the basis of collection, library provides reference service to its users.
c). Reprographic Services:
Through this services library provides photocopies of articles from journals and books to the users as and when requested.
d). Multimedia Facility:
Library has having Air conditioned Multimedia Room with LCD Projector. Library has more then 200 CD ROM & VCD collection related to Medical Sciences. Faculty Members, P G & U G Students are utilizing this Facility.
e). Book Bank Facility:
The Library provides the Book Bank Facility to the S.C. / S.T. Students studying in the College. The Books are supplied by Dept of Social Welfare, Government of Karnataka.
f). Internet Centre:
Internet Centre of MVJ Medical College & Research Hospital established on 2001, it situates in Central Library. The main aim of Internet center is to enable the students as well as the staff to access various information related to educational as well as research and development in the field of Medical Sciences. Internet Centre is well equipped with total 10 computers and all are connected through local Network to a 512 Kbps broadband from BSNL caters for the Internet facility and the Email. Daily average more then 100 members are utilizing the Internet facility.
g). HELINET Consortium of RGUHS:
MVJ Medical College & Research Hospital has the member of HELINET Consortium (Health Science Library & Information Network) for E-Resources (E-Journals, E-Books, & Etc) of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore. HELINET has provides the more then 300 full text Journals of all over the world, and more then 100 e-books. HELINET has cover all areas of Medical Science.

HOSTEL
MVJ Medical College provides students hostel inside the campus. Separate blocks for girls and boys are available with each block accommodating around 500 students. More rooms are being added to meet the increasing demand.
* All the blocks have reading rooms with TV
* Mess facilities (North and South Indian food are served).
* 24 hours water and Electricity supply with generator facility in times of power failure.
* Well equipped Multi-gym separate for boys and girls
* Table tennis boards, twin shuttle courts, basket ball courts, tennis courts etc. are available.
